About Us

What We Cover

At the moment, Homieholic centers on a handful of spaces:

  • Kitchens: Storage, shelving, lighting, countertops, cabinets, backsplashes, and smart ideas for compact kitchens where every inch matters.
  • Dorm rooms: Setting up and styling a shared space that comes with a long list of rules, with ideas that won’t harm the walls or go against housing policies.
  • Closets and wardrobes: Storage solutions and layout ideas to bring an overflowing closet back under control.
  • Bedrooms and living rooms: Simple ways to revive a room that feels dull, unfinished, or just a little tired.

We publish new guides regularly and are gradually building out more room-by-room content.

How Our Guides Come Together

Each guide begins with a real, specific problem, such as a kitchen with barely any counter space, a dorm room with concrete block walls, or a closet where nothing stays put on the shelves. We focus on what actually solves that problem and what you should know before spending a single dollar.

We’re careful to separate what we’ve tried ourselves from general advice. If a tip comes from Hannah’s own home, the article will say so. If an example is a sample scenario, we’ll describe it that way. We’d much rather be upfront about that than claim every idea has been tested under our own roof.

We also call out the practical limits you might run into, including rental restrictions, dorm housing rules, measurements to double-check before you buy, and projects that turn out to be trickier than they seem.
